By its top position on
the market, Schenk S.A. plays a dominant role in the Swiss wine-growing
and production economy. Its activities range from the production and
cellar preparation of Swiss wines to the importation of foreign wines
from over fifteen countries. A large central bottling and packaging unit
enables it to offer its customers (wholesalers and distributors) an
extremely wide range of products packed in a variety of ways. Apart from
wines, the company also sells in bulk its grape juice produced under the
brand name Grapillon.
