Madiran vineyard has been existing since the 2nd century and has been improved by the Benedictine monks in the 12th century. Nowadays it covers 1'600 ha producing 60'000 hl of wine annually.

AOC since 1948, Madiran wine is made from two grape varieties:
Tannat, native, very typical variety gives the wine its structure and unique character
Cabernet provides bouquet and delicacy

Madiran Domaine de Mourchette ages very well. It is the ideal present for connoisseurs.
