The strictly selected grapes are harvested by hand and put on wooden racks for drying until February. Then they are pressed and ferment with the marc before maturing for 18 months in casks made of Slovenian wood.
Nice deep purple colour. Rich, full without heaviness, with smell and flavour of ripe cherry and green almond.The wine is dry, structured and powerful in mouth.
It is better to savour than drink this wine. It becomes better when kept many years in cellar. Then natural deposit may appear and it is recommended to settle for one hour before serving. |
