The Domaine Chatelanat farms some 6 hectares between the wine
villages of Perroy and Bougy-Villars, in the middle of La Côte. It
is planted with
Chasselas and,
recently, with Pinot Gris, Gamaret and Garanoir. It enjoys
a particularly sunny situation and its soil is recognized very favorable
to the vine growing. Its wines are produced under both appelations
Perroy and Féchy.
Since nearly one century and a half, it belongs to the family of this
name and its heirs. Also, since more than one century, the Metzener vine
growers carefully dedicated to the cultivation of its vineyard. Raymond
Metzener, 4th of this professional line, is enthusiast of a growing
method respectful of the environment. Under its control, all the estate
area follows the most strict rules regarding ecological production, thus
profiting from the certified label Vinatura.
